DENVER, Colo. – Terrence N. Tice, Th.D., Ph.D., Professor Emeritus in the School of Education, University of Michigan died on January 11, 2020 in Denver, Colorado at age 88.
Terrence was a class of 1949 Beloit High School graduate.
He joined the faculty of the School of Education in 1969, from which he retired in 1997.
Upon retirement, Tice lived in Colorado for over 20 years.
Tice is predeceased by his wife Carol Hoff Tice. He is survived by sister Gloria Ballamy/Bill Ballamy,, daughter Dr. Karin Tice and son-in-law Dr. James Szocik, son Rev. Jonathan Tice, three grandchildren Katherine and Michael Szocik, and Jonathan Tice, Jr., as well as by Dr. Doreen Poupard and wife Rev. Dr. Catherine Kelsey.
