BELOIT – Susan Gale Foster, 67, went to her heavenly home on Feb. 17, 2026,  with her beloved common-law-husband Alfred Wrench, by her side.

She was born Feb. 25, 1958, to Evelyn and Raymond Owens in St Joseph, MO., both preceding her in death.

She attended school at South West Heights in Plains, KS, for a short time. She met and later married John Roberts of Meade KS. To this union two daughters were born, Tanya Cook (Bert) Stubby of Meade, KS., Bert preceded her in death, and Corie (Christopher) Albrecht, of Mason City, IA., Christopher preceded her in death. She later remarried Tim Schuhs and had one son, Timothy of Wichita, KS., Tim preceded her in death. 

She enjoyed fishing, thrifting and garage sellng. But most of all she enjoyed drinking and blowing that smoke on Saturday nights and just shooting the bull with friends.

She is survived by brother, Steven Owens and wife Lisa of St. Joseph, MO., Michael Owens of Liberal, KS. and sister, Sherri Hightower and husband Carl, (Sunny) of Liberal, KS. Five grandchildren, Jerry Wayne Carter III and wife, Trudy of Dodge City, KS., Robert Amon Carter and wife, Dr. Jenna of Grapevine, TX., Chyanne Myers and husband, Keaton of Lubbock, TX., Hannah Schulze and husband, Derek of Sheffield, IA, Mason Albrecht of Cedar Falls, IA. Three great-grand children, Amberlynn Janiece Carter, Kolter John Carter, Brixen Boone Myers and many aunts, uncle, cousins, nieces and nephews. 

She was also preceded in death by step-mother, Ruth  Owens, step-father, Howard Harris, one brother, Terry Owens and two nephews, James Dozier and Robert Owens.
