SALINA – Roberta Mae Stover, of Salina, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2019. She was born an only child to John and Evelyn Schulte on Nov. 12, 1932.
Roberta graduated from Marymount College and taught school before earning her library science degree. She worked 25 years at Saint Mary's Catholic School.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Charles Stover, and her children, Debbie Owen (John), John Stover (Sherri), Jeff Stover (Mikki) and Lisa Everhart (Steve). She leaves six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Roberta volunteered at Salina Community Theater, Salina Cancer Center and Saint Mary's. She loved to read and do needlepoint.
Memorial Mass was held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 7, at Saint Mary's Catholic Church, Salina.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic School Library Fund, in care of Ryan Mortuary.
