Regina Selichnow AURORA, CO. – Regina Monica Brummer Selichnow was born January 30, 1920 at the family home south of Downs to Anna (Redeker) and Ignatz Brummer. Jean, the oldest of 9 siblings, passed away April 7, 2023 in Aurora, Colorado at the age of 103 years old.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband Carl, her parents, four brothers: Louis Brummer, Joe Brummer, Francis Brummer and a brother that died in infancy, three sisters: Veronica Carl, Agnes Brummer & Madeline Rypma. Jean is survived by her brother Tony of Hays and many nieces and nephews.
Local nieces are Brenda Budke of Beloit and Debbie Taylor of Cawker City.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held on May 1, 2023 at St. Theresa’ s Catholic Church in Aurora Colorado. Inurnment was at the Ft. Logan Cemetery Aurora Colorado.
