DOWNS – Ralph Edward Becker, 81, passed away December 28, 2018. He was born January 3, 1937 in Great Bend, the son of Walter and Zelda (Oeser) Becker.
Ralph graduated from Downs High School in 1955 and married Lynda Jo Ritz on December 29, 1957.
He was a retired farmer/ rancher, truck driver and used car salesman.
Ralph was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He also was a man who enjoyed building dog houses, toy boxes up to large ag buildings.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Albert, Gilbert, and Roy. He is survived by his wife, Lynda of the home; Children, Tammy Calderon, Anthony; Kalvin Becker (Terry), Winfield; Alvin Becker (Deb), Downs; Tim Becker (Angie), Salina; Edward Becker (Sarah), Marysville, WA; 10 grandchildren including Lydia Housh (Blake) of Beloit and Chelsi Remus (Jared) of Downs; 10 great grandchildren including Jaycee and Austen Remus of Downs and Brixon and Byatt Housh of Beloit.; Brothers, Herman Becker, Osborne and Don Becker, Nevada
A Celebration of Life service was held Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Downs Senior Citizen’s Center with Pastor Anna Borders officiating. Memorials may be given to Breast Friends Foundation, Christian Care Fund, and Downs Senior Center in care of Domoney Funeral Home, PO Box 127, Downs, KS 67437.
