BELOIT – Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems (MCHHS) will welcome new emergency medicine providers to its Emergency Department beginning October 1, 2026, marking the next step in the hospital’s continued commitment of providing exceptional emergency care.

As MCHHS transitions to a new emergency medicine provider team, patients and families can be assured that the Emergency Room will remain open and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with no interruption in emergency services.

The transition is part of MCHHS’s ongoing commitment to strengthen and sustain healthcare services for the communities it serves. Maintaining reliable access to emergency care is especially important in rural communities, where local emergency services provide an essential connection to timely evaluation, stabilization, and treatment.

“Our emergency room is a vital part of how we care for our community, and patients can always rely on MCHHS when they need medical care, day or night,” said Janelle Kircher, CEO. “We are incredibly grateful for the physicians who have cared for our patients throughout the years, and we are excited to welcome new emergency medicine providers to our team. Healthcare continues to evolve, and our responsibility is to support sustainable access to excellent care for the communities we serve. Throughout this transition, our top priority remains our patients.”

MCHHS is working closely with both current and incoming providers to ensure a smooth transition. While patients may see some new faces, the teams they know and trust will remain an integral part of the compassionate high-quality care our community has come to expect.
MCHHS looks forward to introducing the new emergency medicine providers to the community and welcoming them to the team.
