BELOIT – Joe Kindscher, a beloved son, brother, and community stalwart, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 28, 2026. Born on October 18, 1962, in Beloit, Kansas, Joe lived a life that was as rich and full as the land he called home. His journey from a small-town boy to a cherished local businessman touched the hearts of many.
The son of John and Doris Kindscher, Joe was raised in a household where kindness and integrity were daily staples. He carried these values throughout his life, especially in his relationships with family and the community. Joe’s mother, Doris, survives him, along with his siblings, Jacob John Kindscher IV, Ann (Kindscher) Innis, and James Kindscher, who will forever cherish the bond they shared.
A graduate of Beloit High School, Joe was a proud Kansan who chose to plant his roots firmly in his hometown. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to own and manage The Pump Mart, a local hub where customers were always greeted with his quick wit and warm smile. For 21 years, Joe’s presence behind the counter was a constant, and he became a strong supporter of the community, always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh.
Joe’s love for sports was legendary among his friends and loved ones. Whether cheering on the Royals, the Chiefs, or the Kansas State Wildcats, his enthusiasm was infectious. He was also a dedicated pool player, often ranking among the top three in his league games, a testament to his competitive spirit and skill.
A member of the Rotary Club, Joe’s commitment to service extended beyond his business. He believed in the power of community and the importance of giving back. Those who knew him will remember his dedication to bettering the lives of those around him.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Joe’s life on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 12:00 PM to 4:00PM at the Beloit Country Club. It is a fitting venue for a man who held the club dear and supported its activities with enthusiasm.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Beloit Country Club Golf Course, a place where Joe spent many joyful hours.
The Kindscher family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has shared stories and memories of Joe. Your remembrances of his kind and caring nature have been a source of comfort and joy during this difficult time.
