BELOIT – Janice Marie (Zachary) Horn, 82, Snohomish, WA., passed peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 2. Mrs. Horn was born to Ray and Delila Zachary on Oct. 30, 1938 in Beloit. She grew up in Beloit, attended St. John's High School and met her husband in Corpus Christi, TX where they were married in 1959. She was a devoted mother and wife, homemaker and a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and its Prayer Group.
She was devout in her Catholic faith and was known for her grateful heart, resilience, fun loving spirit and genuine thoughtfulness of others. She deeply enriched the lives of her family, friend and community. Her favorite things in life included gathering with family and friends, playing cards, bingo, camping, hiking, sports and discussing politics.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gary and her son Blaine; her parents; her brother Bill Zachary; her mother-in-law Tina Weaver; brothers-in-law Tony O'Keefe and George Horn.
Survivors include a son, Douglas Horn; two daughters, Valerie Horn and Rhonda Gordillo and her husband Sergio Gordillo, all of Snohomish, WA; a daughter-in-law, Kendra Horn of Fall City, WA; three sisters, Pauline O'Keefe of Prairie Village, KS; Kathy Easter and husband Don of Enid, OK: and Pamela Bonham and husband Mark of Beloit; a sister-in-law Valissa Zachary of Beloit; four grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
