SUNRISE BEACH, Mo.– George Robert “Bob” Harrison, 82, of Sunrise Beach, Mo. and formerly of Grandview, Mo. passed away on April 14, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born on October 23, 1937 in Beloit to Ralph Carman and Martha (Schlaefli) Harrison. George Robert served in the United States Airforce. He married Rita Carol Brenner and they had five children. Bob was a tool designer and retired from AGCO.
Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Harrison and daughter-in-law, Sandy Harrison. He is survived by his wife, Rita; children, Mark Harrison, Rick Harrison, Mike Harrison and Niki Ervin and husband, Ryan; sisters, Carma June Wright and Winnie Fox; grandchildren, Cody, Colton, Kyle, Ricky, Brandon, Shane, RJ, Tressa, Joe, Mikey, Kylan, Chris, Nevaeh and Aislyn; six great grandchildren; numerous extended family and a host of friends.
A graveside service, with Military Honors, was held Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Mount Moriah Cemetery South in Kansas City, Mo. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
