MORGANTOWN, WV – Donna Lynn Pestinger passed away at her home on Monday, December 14.
Donna was born on February 27, 1962, in Morgantown, WV to the late Jack and Virginia Tennant.
Donna’s family moved to Louisville while she was in middle school and she graduated from Eastern High School and attended the University of Louisville. Over the years she enjoyed working in a variety of administrative roles, most notably with Med East Physicians and J Victor Interiors. In 2016, Donna and Greg fulfilled their lifelong dream to create a business that helped people live more productive and fulfilling lives.
Donna directed all administrative and marketing activities for P3 Pestinger Peak Performance and FocalPoint Coaching and Training Excellence of Kentucky, a successful business coaching, consulting, and training business founded in 2016.
Donna had an engaging personality with a big smile and sense of humor and easily made friends. Those who knew Donna, knew she knew no strangers and was not only loving in her relationships but "present" with everyone with whom she engaged, making them feel special and valued. She especially enjoyed hosting social gatherings at her home. She also enjoyed following the Louisville Cardinals, loved anything related to the Wizard of OZ, and gave freely of her time, talents, and resources to help others.
In addition, Donna is survived by her husband of 26 years, Greg Pestinger; her brother, Jeff Tennant (Kim) of Charlotte, NC; sister Debbie Heinrich (Ron) of Palm Harbor, FL.; niece Jaclyn Heinrich; nephews Josh Heinrich (Lesley), and Cooper Tennant. Also, surviving are her mother-in-law and fatherin-law Gene and Kathleen Pestinger of Beloit, KS; her brother-in-law and sister-inlaw Mike and Karen Pestinger, Beloit; and nephews Blake, and Matt Pestinger (Kylie), of Salina.
Funeral Services for Donna will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road, East Louisville and will be available on livestream for those who cannot attend. Visitation will be held from 5- 8 p.m., Friday, December 18, at the funeral home.

This fund support overflow treatment for young people suffering from anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges often leading to sadness, stress, and the extreme of suicide at the very time they are entering adult life.
