Carl Bailey St.John, 88, Costa Mesa, Calif.

COSTA MESA, Calif. – Carl Bailey St.John was born in Randall, Kansas on Sept. 20, 1932 and died April 24, 2021 in Costa Mesa Calif, at the age of 88 years, 7 months.

He was the seventh of ten children born to Pearl St.John and Lena Bailey St.John. He graduated from Randall High School and then served as a petty officer 3rd class in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict from 1952 to 1956. After receiving an honorable discharge, he attended and graduated from Orange Coast College and Calif State College in Long Beach with a B.S. degree in accounting. He successfully passed the Certified Public Accountant examination. He had a successful career with the Internal Revenue Service for 26 years, retiring in 1988. He then started his own CPA practice which lasted for 18 years. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He was an honest, humble man who enjoyed reading books and watching his favorite baseball team.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years Veone St.John, sons Lindsey and Philip, daughters Stephanie and Diane as well as his stepsons Kenneth and David Waldram, nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the LDS chapel on May 15th. 3401 S. Greenville St., Santa Ana, CA 92704
