Trojan golfers place third in host Beloit Invitational

BELOIT –  The Beloit Trojans were host to their golf invitational on Thursday, April 20. 

Beloit placed third in the 2-man competition with Taylor Travis placing 8th with a score of 85. Kaleb Jones placed 16th with a score of 93. Gannon Grauerholz scored 102 for a 24th placing.  Hayden Budke scored 127 in his first varsity tournament of the season. 

"We played well on our home course and are looking to improve," said Coach Darrell Kelley. 

Southeast of Saline won the 2-Man competition followed by Republic County in second and Beloit in third place. Ellsworth placed fourth, Concordia fifth; Russell sixth; Osborne seventh and Minneapolis eighth.
