St. John's golf underway
MANKATO – St. John's competed in the Northern Plains meet hosted by Rock Hills on Tuesday April 18 with three individual varsity golfers.
Kail Dubbert came in 12th place with a score of 92; Erin Meyer in 23rd at 106 and Claire Pastrovich in 24th at 108. Each golfed 18 holes with their personal best scores.
Winning the meet as teams was Osborne at 314; Tipton 334; Rock Hills 346; Pike Valley 449; Chase 44; Southern Cloud 517.
The Blujays junior varsity and varsity both competed in the Southern Cloud golf meet held in Glasco on Thursday, April 20.
Four varsity golfers scored their personal best with Brady Palen placing 8th overall as an individual. Kail Dubbert placed 12th.
At the Miltonvale golf course the junior varsity boys were Landon Eilert placing 19th with a score of 89 and Benjamin Walter 21st at 97.
Junior varsity girls golfing were Kylie Eitzmann placing ninth at 73; Lyddia Eilert 13th at 76 and Emily Eilert 14th with a score of 80.
St. John's will now compete in Mankato on Tuesday with a 1 p.m. tee-off.
