Beloit K-18 League tournament begins Thursday in Beloit

BELOIT – The Twin Lakes League baseball tournament begins in Beloit on Thursday as the number four seed Beloit Blue will take on number five seed Lincoln with a 7 p.m. pitch.

Beloit started their season on May 20 with a split to Lincoln on a 22-11 win and a 9- 8 loss. They fell short to Smith Center on June 1 in two games of 3-1 and 16-1.

Beloit lost to Smith Center on June 5 in two games of 15-3 and 8-1 and to Plainville on June 8 in two games of 13-2 and 15- 6.

Beloit split with Lincoln on June 15 with a 7-5 loss and a 10- 6 win. They split with Osborne onJune19witha4-0winanda 3-2 loss.

Beloit Blue fell to Smith Center on June 22 with a 27-7 and 21-0 loss. The lost to

Plainville on June 26 at 6-3 and 11-10 loss.

The Beloit Blue team split with Osborne on July 3 with an 8-5 loss and a 11-10 win.

Beloit will now continue in league play on Thursday.

The top four teams will advance into the Regional K- 18 tournament which begin on Tuesday, July 11 in Concordia.

The Beloit Blue team roster includes: Gabe Rice, Cooper Adams, Owen Eilert, Benson Berndt, Triston Thompson, Asa Carr, Caylen Chancellor, Cameron Hajny, Ethan Haller, Mason Fuller, Hunter Prochaska Jackson Rexroat Brennan Walker, Kyler V ahle, Brycn Corbett, Tate Kadel, Head Coach Craig Haller and Assistant Coach Lynn Kadel.
