Millapalooza in the works

BELOIT – Several events are being presented for a weekend event on Saturday, September 8 in Beloit.

Starting at 7 a.m., the North Central Kansas Wellness Center will host the Solomon Valley River Race with a 15 mile bike race. Awards will be given at 9:30 a.m. and a kids race will take place at 10:30 a.m. 

Those interested in the event are to pre-register by calling 785-738-3995. 

At 11 a.m., the Beloit Area Chamber of Commerce and Beloit Auto and Truck Plaza will host the Millapalooza Car Show along Mill Street. To register your vehicle, email  millapalooza@yahoo.com 

The Millapalooza Art and Wine Walk will conclude the day from 5-7 p.m. and is sponsored by the Kettle and the chamber.
