Beloit alumni reunite on the mats
SALINA – A recent Salina South and Salina Central wrestling dual showed some familiar faces with three Beloit High School graduates in the mix.
Kanean Wendell graduated from BHS in 2003. He is the head coach of Salina South for two years now. Wendell was an assistant coach for eight years and has taught biology for 10 years. Mark Wallace graduated BHS in 1979 and has refereed wrestling for 38 years now.
Shannon Peters is a 1988 BHS graduate. He has taught chemistry at Salina Central for 22 years and has head coached for 17 years.
